COVID Distance Learning
COVID has created unique problems in education. With many districts going into hybrid schedules or online learning, students are missing 1:1 classroom instruction. This is particularly problematic for many populations - AP students, those completing college applications, language learners, those needing additional supports. EdAdvocate is a 501 (c) nonprofit offering tutoring, SPED support and in person, safe, outside distance learning supports for students in the Salt Lake Valley.
Experts
Tutoring is provided by expert teachers in the Salt Lake Valley with a minimum of Master’s Degrees. Speciality areas include college applications and personal essays, AP Social Studies and History courses, English writing and Literature analysis. STEM tutors available with both education backgrounds, and by Engineering or Medical professionals.
All money is tax deductible
Each tutoring session acts as a dual benefit with the funds going towards EdAdvocate, which is a 501 (c) non profit. This means payment for socially distanced, safe, in person tutoring, will be tax deductible. All funds will be put towards the current initiative in Senegal, supporting trafficked children with an micro education initiative.
